What we collect

When you shop with us, a staff member may ask for your mobile number, and you may choose to give us your name, email address and mailing address. We keep a record of your purchases so we can send your receipt, look up past purchases, and help with returns or questions. If you leave a review, we keep what you write and any photo you add.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number goes straight to Stripe and is never stored by RUST. If you pay by check, we may photograph the check and your ID to process it; those photos are kept privately and deleted after 90 days.

How we use it

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or personal information with anyone for their marketing. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We share information only with the services that help us run the shop (such as our card processor, email and texting providers), and only to provide those services to you, or when the law requires it.

Text messages (SMS)

Program: RUST – Art & Antiques customer messages: purchase-related links (adding your details, receipts, review requests) and, if you opt in, monthly news about new items.

How you opt in: by giving your mobile number to a staff member at checkout for purchase-related messages, and by checking “Send me news about new arrivals and events” on our customer details form or our Get RUST texts page for news. Full SMS Terms: Terms & Conditions.

How often: message frequency varies. Purchase-related messages are sent after a purchase; news is about once a month.

Cost: message and data rates may apply. RUST does not charge for texts.

Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop all texts from RUST. You’ll get one message confirming you’re unsubscribed. Reply START to resubscribe.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop emails or texts. Email office@rustartandantiques.com or ask at the counter.

Website

Our website counts visits to understand how many people stop by. It does not use advertising trackers or sell visitor data.
